With provided schedule you can set ranges of time when You or your children will not be able to log on to their profiles or when the computer will be automatically turned off. Every normal or schedule task can be secured with password know only by the administrator user.
SMD has two kinds of counter widgets that will help you to see what kind of task currently active. You can show them and hide when it's needed.
